Mi-Fish Consulting is dedicated to strengthening individuals and businesses for the present and to evolve for the future.

We achieve this through delivery of leadership programs, program and systems development and research and project management.

Heidi has worked within the seafood industry since 2000 and is constantly in awe of the marine environment. Her roles within industry have been wide and varied incorporating people development, facilitation and project management, extension and engagement, hatchery, growout, research and development, and systems management giving here a broad and deep understanding of all sectors within industry.

As Program managers of the National Seafood Leadership Program, Heidi thrives on the opportunity to work with future leaders of the seafood industry. The passion and enthusiasm Heidi has for industry is displayed in her facilitation and the connections made with participants.

Heidi has post graduate qualifications in aquaculture, is a graduate of the NSILP and is currently the Chair of WISA (Women in Seafood Australasia), a national organisation who is dedicated to representing and promoting women in all facets of the seafood industry. She is also the Chair of the FRDC’s Tasmanian and Northern Territory Research Advisory Committee’s, a member of Seafood Industry Australia’s Safety and Wellbeing Committee, FRDC’s Capability and Capacity Steering Committee and a Board member of Seafood Maritime Training, Tasmania.

Jodie has a background in both project management and change management. With a Diploma of Management under her belt, Jodie has led high performing, geographically dispersed teams providing successful delivery of business improvement projects.

After meeting her partner (a Commercial Fisherman) almost 10 years ago, Jodie realised she could transition her leadership and change management skills to the seafood industry.

As a graduate of the National Seafood Industry Leadership Program (NSILP), Jodie is excited to share her prior experience with current program participants and encourage them on their leadership journey to find their best fit within the greater seafood community.
