National Seafood Industry Leadership Program (NSILP)

The National Seafood Industry Leadership Program (NSILP) is the only national industry-specific leadership program designed in consultation with seafood industry people wishing to take up leadership roles within the seafood industry.

Who Should Participate?

The program encourages all sectors of the industry including:

  • Aquaculturists
  • Commercial fishers
  • Government / Management / Compliance
  • Indigenous / Traditional fishers
  • Recreational fishers
  • Retail / Wholesale
  • Researchers
  • Supply and value chain of the Australian seafood industry

As a program participant you will develop an understanding of how to impact constructively, resulting in positive outcomes for the seafood industry nationally.

NSILP graduates have gone on to apply their skills to a wide variety of areas including:

  • Effective business management
  • Regional network development
  • Regional industry association boards
  • State industry association boards
  • Reference committees
  • National Boards and committees
